Climbing stairs is pretty good cardio exercise. Climb stairs as well as you can but don't give up and adopt a sedentary lifestyle. Staying active and mobile as long as you can only makes for a better existence and a longer life.
I've lost too many friends that retired and took to the couch to drink, smoke and eat themselves into a early grave.

Be that as it may, I'll have to get my cardio exercise in some manner other than climbing stairs (unless, of course, I'll also be getting some additional cardio exercise if those stairs happen to lead to the right willing young gent's room) . . .
