Popped into Chonburi Immigration office this morning to do my 90 days reporting and found a new setup outside the building. It indicates you have to line up to get a queue card from the Information counter then wait to be called at the waiting area. Then enter the building when your number is called. That is how the sign reads following step 1-4. However, with all Immigration matters, it's not very efficient. Wouldn't it be better to get your queue card from the Information counter first then wait outside, eliminating Step 1?
Anyway I was already hot and bothered by the time I arrived, so I squeezed inside first, (the area around the steps is cordoned off), got my ticket for counter 4 then slipped inside the main business area as per usual. No one noticed. I saw the counter to the left of the front door has gone. In and out in 5 minutes as per usual. Not a problem.
