There was a large turnout this afternoon for John Lewis. Many Thais from his bf's village paid respects.
It was a hot day and refreshments and towelettes were abundant. Very nice service at the Wat. John had
organized a dinner at an Indian restaurant for a group of farangs on Tuesdays, before his health declined.
In honor of John Lewis, we will have dinner there tonight..

Every now and then you meet a true original. John TOQ was just such an original. His TOQ postings helped me tremendously as I was preparing to move to Thailand. His quiet wit after I moved here always made me look forward to more. I am so, so sorry that he and those days are gone.
