currently I installing and making setup "Thank you / Like" system at forum. Comments, wishes and bug-reports are welcome to this topic.

Button "thank you/like" is located at top right corner of each post near button "quote".

I have asked Moses to change 'thx/like' simply to 'like'. Having both seems redundant. I'm also glad to see that you can't 'like' your own post.

I have also asked him to remove the ratings part. I see no need for that and the display is too dominating.

I believe the feature works only on posts that are submitted after the feature goes into effect. I don't think it is available for preexisting posts.

Hmm, as much as I like board enhancements, I'd much prefer "thank yous" and comments to be made in replies to a post. I think that makes for a livelier exchange.

I like the way it is done on the Gay Thailand board. Let's see what Moses comes up with and give it a try. If it doesn't work out, it can always be changed or removed later. He already has removed the ratings, which I asked him to do.

I don't recall ever seeing that on a board. Most of the time when people dislike or disagree they post. In any case, I'm really not looking for more than is already here. Too many of these things and the board will end up like my TV remote control. 50 trillion buttons and I only know what maybe 4 or 5 of them do and have never had a use for any of the others.

There are no "dislike" at Facebook and at most social medias. Reason easy to explain - "like" is positive and stimulates people to write, "dislike" is negative and stops people to write. "No place for dislike button" - is main secret of success of FB with 1+ Bln accounts..
