I'm not. I have a feeling I already know, and if I'm right it will be far from the first time buyers lost condo investments when the building owners just abandoned construction and then disappeared - with all the money.

If I ever buy a condo in Pattaya, it will be a condo already long established, built by a reputable company, run by reputable management, and the residents are happy with the place. Unfortunately, in Pattaya those are not always so easy to find.

Don't buy, just rent.
There will be fewer worries.

This is good advice however, it depends on your age, I am 65 I bought my condo when I was 55 and my place was very reasonably priced and not being a rental I was able to design the space to my liking as it would be my home. In the 10 years living in my place by not paying rent it more than paid for itself, and upon its sale it will be all profit.

I might add in any case if you are planning to retire in Thailand first rent for at least six months to a year to see if Thailand is right for you.

My guess, you'll be shocked.
