As the police are nowhere to be found as of tonight the jockeys are very much in control of all streets abutting Sunee:

I'm not surprised, but I just do not understand why the police seem so disinterested in enforcing what is going on. They could collect more fines per night in that area alone than they probably collect in the rest of Pattaya during an entire day.

If it's a matter of selective enforcement, why is that area so rarely selected?

Time to add to my "I Don't Get It" list . . .

A friend who lives in Yensabai condo suggested that I look at how many businesses in the area depend on the jockeys....motorcycles rental shops, guesthouses and hotels and restaurants let alone 7/11’s pharmacies etc. He suggested that the B.I.B. are financially rewarded to only make an occasional show of force.

That very well could be the reason, but even if that's not it, it certainly would come as no surprise to me if money is involved one way or another.

And if it's money, then if an occasional innocent bystander is hurt or killed, who cares? Just gimme my money . . .

There has been no new posts about this in over a month. Is the problem still going on?

If driver education was on the curriculum, they must have flunked the test.

I have a feeling they all pass those tests back in Arabia, because they're all driving camels. Think about it. No speed limits, no parallel parking, no turn signals to be concerned with, and the damned things never fall down...

I don't know much of anything about motorbikes. What is meant by a "big bike"? That's what this seems to be all about.
