I just noticed a statistic that is published with each poster's post; maybe it has been there a long time? It is listed under the poster's name/avatar.
Listed as Thanked and Been Thanked. I found the results most interesting.

Yes, it has been there for a very long time. I did have that feature turned off for awhile when Moses was working on trying to get the board problems fixed, but it has been back on again for a couple months now. I guess you just never noticed until now.

Seems I don't use the thumbs up 'liked' very much. Perhaps I should. If I do like a post or find it useful I send a PM to the poster thanking him. If a post is really useful and I have something to add I'll post a reply and a thank you in the thread. That liked feature is just so face-bookey and trendy and I'm not. I suspect some BM's did not know it was there or how and when to use it. Some struggle with the quote function.
