As I reported before, an English friend and I visited the Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens In Chang Mai.
As we approached the entrance pay desk, I was scanning the price-list to see if there was dual pricing.
The clerk said to me "you two are so old, you get in for free".
We only had to pay Baht 100 for our car and driver (who happened to be the owner of the guest house we were staying at).
Dual pricing to end? I'll believe it when it happens

I don't believe the Thai Tourism minister, In Thailand they are very sensitive to lose face in public so to avoid embarrassing questions about dual pricing in Thailand he probably said things that he didn't really mean to.
