Continuing gun violence against LGBTQ+ folk in the US.
When will the US be able to get this terrible problem under control???? If you have not been following this, note the articles in The Advocate.

I left the USA in May 1999 because of an awful gun violence that happened to a gay ski buddy friend of mine in 1998 where he lost his life because of it. After his funeral, my friends all told me that they were going to get their gun licenses. I told them, I don't want to live here anymore and I am moving to Europe. Yes there was also violence in Europe - but a LOT less due to handguns causing loss of life.
