On 7 April Kevin Mark Burt aka Kev-in-Thailand died. He was a Pattaya resident and long time U-Tuber. I never met Kev but he seemed like a nice guy. In his latter videos he was very open and honest about his illness and lack of health insurance. The early videos were about expat life in Thailand.
RIP Kev

Re: Kev-in- Thailand Died
Sorry to hear that. I didn't know him either, but watched and enjoyed a great many of his videos. I saw an update on his health a month or so ago on the channel of a friend of his--he was back in England in a nursing home (not sure if that's the exact term). It didn't sound too promising. I was very surprised when he said that he had no health insurance--he seemed smarter than that and it didn't seem like he was hurting for money. I suppose it didn't make any difference though, really, but it might be a wake-up call for some other people who are putting off getting insurance. I think he said he was planning on getting insurance when he reached sixty, but he got sick shortly before that.
