Noting the thread headline, here is the latest Wise price change. Unless we consumers can identify an alternative at a similar price point, they do not have much to lose by increasing fees.

"We’re making some changes to our fees. We believe in transparency, so we want to let you know what’s changing and why it’s happening.

Our fees are increasing when you:
Send money FROM EUR to any currency.
Send money TO GBP from any currency. "

I notice there is no fee increase for sending money from the USA. I'm certainly not complaining, but I'm wondering why. Apparently the USA costs have not gone up.

Even so, I'm guessing Wise is still the least expensive way to send.

Wise announced their annual results today.

Average cross currency "take rate" 2022: 0.63% 2023 0.65%

So charges have gone up slightly. Still far better than the obscene charges made by the banks.
