Re: Headline News
Bus crashes and farang taking fatal falls from hotel balconies - these are becoming all too common news items, usually at least one a week.
Despite the fact that I essentially don't drink at all, with usually no more than 3 or 4 exceptions in a year, I am in full favor of doing away with the alcohol time restrictions being axed. If they do get rid of those rules I'd be willing to bet there will be no perceptible increase in problems related to alcohol. I just dislike the idea about the adult population being told what to do by some old prude who came up with it 50 years ago and somehow managed to get it to become law. If you think it is wrong to be able to buy alcohol in the afternoon, then don't buy alcohol in the afternoon - but get down off your high horse about imposing your own beliefs on everybody else.
