The Bay Pattaya, a beachfront project located on Soi 5-6 along Beach Road, is set to undergo a significant makeover to become a 24/7 entertainment and shopping complex.
Ms. Anna Wongsing, the project manager, announced this ambitious plan to the media on April 17th, 2024. The plan focuses on transforming The Bay Pattaya into “The Bay Pattaya Twentyfour-Seven,” a sprawling entertainment and shopping complex offering exclusive dining and shopping experiences around the clock.
The project will span across a spacious 23-rai area in the heart of Pattaya’s Beach Road, with the aim to become a one-stop destination for both Thai and international tourists visiting Pattaya. Visitors can expect a wide selection of international restaurants, a luxurious 5-star hotel zone, and a productive business lounge.
The project will also offer plentiful entertainment options, with pub and bar zones alongside casual street dining areas and dedicated street food zones. Additionally, the complex will regularly host product exhibitions and music events to enjoy visitors throughout the day and night.
According to Ms. Anna, The Bay Pattaya Twentyfour-Seven prioritizes attracting international tourists seeking non-stop service and a focus on privacy. She is confident the project will become a new landmark for Pattaya City and be able to provide a platform for long-term investment success for new entrepreneurs.

The Harbour on Pattaya Klang has tried something similar, as virtually all the shops and restaurants have moved out. So they're trying to make it pay it's way with some entertainment, mainly for kids, as far as I can see.
Other than the Starbucks, The Bay Pattaya is almost empty, so they're clearly going to try something similar.
Another approach is to settle for a few empty floors. Mikes has done that.
Even in Tuk Com, the building has at least 6 floors, but I don't recall anything above the 4th floor. The 4 floors with businesses are nowhere near fully occupied.
