Funny how U.S. interest rates can have such an impact on a country on the other side of the globe...
Foreign investors started waning on Thailand the minute they shifted alliance from the U.S. to China a few years back. Nobody on the business-front wants to play here anymore. I knew this would come back to haunt them in the long-run.

USA financial problems impacting the entire world certainly is not unprecedented. Perhaps the best example is what happened to the world in 1929 when the US stock market crashed and caused the great depression. Many countries ended up worse off than what took place in the USA.
