Talk about an unfit mother! I hope the boy gets placed in a good, proper home. The article does not say the boy's age, but my guess would be between 9-12 years old.

Banglamung Authorities Bust Female Drug Dealer for Using Her Young Son to Deliver Meth to Customers in Pattaya
By Adam Judd
June 4, 2026
Local administration officers raided a house near Pattaya, after residents complained that a woman known as “Jeh Kung” was selling methamphetamine and using her young son, who suffers from ADHD, to deliver drugs to buyers at her front gate.
The operation took place around 5:30 pm on June 2nd, 2026, under a government directive to crack down on drug dealing. Mr. Khamphrai Laosan, District Security Officer of Bang Lamung, led a team of District Administration officers and Or Sor (volunteer defense) members following complaints received through the district’s Damrongtham Centre.
Officers had been monitoring the house after reports of frequent visitors, particularly teenagers, and regular handovers of drugs at the front gate.
During surveillance, two women on a motorcycle were seen receiving a package through the fence. When officers moved in, the women attempted to flee, with one allegedly trying to run down the officers. They were later intercepted and arrested with police assistance at Laem Chabang Police Station. A search found 0.8 grams of crystal methamphetamine (ice) in two ziplock bags.
The two women confessed that they had bought the drugs from a woman known as “Ms. Somlak” or “Jeh Kung,” who lives in Soi Bang Lamung 1/2, Moo 4. They agreed to take officers to her house.
Upon arrival, Ms. Somlak consented to a search. In her second-floor bedroom, officers found:
– 8.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine in 14 ziplock bags ready for sale
– 18 methamphetamine pills (ya ba)
– A digital scale and numerous empty ziplock bags
Neighbours told authorities that “Jeh Kung” had been dealing drugs for some time and routinely used her ADHD-afflicted son to carry packages to customers waiting outside and bring the money upstairs to her. The practice reportedly caused distress in the community and prompted the complaints.
All suspects and seized items have been handed over to Pattaya City Police investigators for legal proceedings. Police say they will continue to expand the investigation to identify any larger network.

Re: Mother of the Year
I hope so too.
I wonder if this sector is overseen with similar principles to others ? I hope to never get close enough to find out.
