TOQ and I went to Alto's on Thephraya Road a couple of nights ago. This was our second time there and it was great! We both decided to have breakfast for dinner: special breakfast includes 2 eggs cooked to order, toast with jam, big slab of smokey bacon, 2 slices of ham, 2 link sausages [not hotdogs], sauteed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, fresh squeezed orange juice, and coffee or tea. All that for 110b! Had the lasagne and weiner schnitzle on the first trip and they too were very good, and cheap. The owner is gay. They have live music on Friday and Sat nights. It was way to loud for TOQ and me, though good. We will simply avoid it on those nights. Alto's is just a bit higher up the road from Alois on the same side.
