Since this has been raised in another thread, for those interested the date for this year's Gay Pride Parade is Saturday 26 October.
There are lots of flight options if you are prepared to change planes somewhere. Of the non-stops, the cheapest is Tiger Air Taiwan which has one evening flight out of DMK arriving in Taipei just after midnight. The return flight arrives at DMK around 18:30. Unfortunately the timetable presently goes no further than 25 October. But based on the previous weekend, a basic 3-night return flight with just 10 kgs of cabin baggage should cost around Bt. 5,530. If you want hold baggage, meals, seat selection etc., the price rises to Bt. 9,150
China Airlines has three daily flights from BKK. I just booked a 9-day round trip for end May at Bt. 9,905. This includes 30 kgs of baggage and full meals. I expect the price will be roughly the same for the end of October.
Taipei has lots of hotels in the budget range.
Anything and everything about gay life anywhere in the world, especially Asia, other than Thailand.
