If you mean Boyz Boys Boyz, well I have one more reason not to go there.
For a "developing" country, Thailand does reasonably well at keeping buses, trains, shopping centres, cafes and so on smoke free. Since they have the 2000 baht fine signs and dedicated smoking areas, I haven't encountered smoking on the beach either.
A few gogo bars which may have to pay off the law for their core activities permit smoking.
If serious about this, I suppose we could occasionally walk into gogo bars that have smokers, tell them we're not buying a drink in a smokey bar, then leave. Eventually they might realise permitting smoking gains some customers and loses others.
But, even for someone who detests smoking, it's rarely a problem.

I don't believe that excuse for a second. That's as ridiculous as Trump's usual spin on things. Even if he is absolutely right, why does he have to be smoking along with permitting the boys to smoke?fountainhall wrote:If he did not permit smoking in his bar, he would have so few patrons it would have to close.

It’s the new place opened up where Cafe Royale used to be. Coincidentally it is owned or run by BBB, a place I also refuse to go into whilst they charge 350 baht for a drink, which is the same as the big clubs in BKK.

Which 'big clubs' in Bangkok are as cheap as Baht 350?gerefan wrote:[I also refuse to go into whilst they charge 350 baht for a drink, which is the same as the big clubs in BKK.

Poor wording. I was trying to compare BBB in Pattaya with the larger gogo bars in Soi Twilight which are now the same price, 350 baht.Bangkokian wrote: Which 'big clubs' in Bangkok are as cheap as Baht 350?
