Anyone flying through Taipei to Thailand should check with the airline’s local offices. Flight attendants went on strike yesterday and 71 flights were cancelled. New bookings have been suspended through to June 29.
Main long haul routes affected so far are Paris, New York, Toronto, Chicago and Los Angeles.
EVA Air flights affected by strike
Re: EVA Air flights affected by strike
Oh dear.
Another one of my reasons for using EVA ahead of BA, Lufthansa, Air France etc is a lower tendency to go on strike at EVA. I hope they don't erode that advantage.

Re: EVA Air flights affected by strike
The airline's 'Strike' webpage indicates that many flights out of Taoyuan are cancelled through to 19 July. I am not sure how many would be reinstated if the strike is settled in the next few days. Presumably the notice below means bookings are not being accepted for these flights.

Re: EVA Air flights affected by strike
A new deal has been reached and the strike will end on July 10. Even so, it is anticipated that the airline's schedule will not return to normal until the end of July.
