I dislike Trump as much as anybody and I don't want him to be elected President again and I do want to see him go to prison, but I draw the line at murder. If he simply drops dead from natural causes, I won't be shedding any tears, but I don't want him or anyone else murdered.

Please keep comments appropriate.

As someone who’s voted for a Democratic president since Walter Mondale lost to Reagan in 1984, I’m voting for Trump.

I don’t like him much, but the democrats are destroying the USA.

The borders a mess, inflation out of control. Biden is a rerun of Weekend at Bernie’s!

Biden spent more than anyone before him. The democrats are truly a party of spending.Lets go Trump.

Now that Biden has dropped out of the race, I'm curious - are you still planning to vote for Trump or are you going to wait and see how it plays out about who will end up as the Democrat nominee? At the moment it looks like it will likely be Kamala Harris.

I just read the article re Musk asking OpenAI investor Vinod Khosla to support Trump (https://autos.yahoo.com/elon-musk-asked ... 55328.html). In his response:
Hard for me to support someone with no values, lies, cheats, rapes, demeans women, hates immigrants like me," Khosla replied. "He may cut my taxes or reduce some regulation but that is no reason to accept depravity in his personal values. Do you want President who will set back climate by a decade in his first year? Do you want his example for your kids as values?
I hope that sufficient voters have the same opinion to elect the Democratic Nominee whoever that turns out to be.

Go Harris!!!

I hope she picks Gretchen Whitmer...a two woman race...who know's.

Do you think Trump will debate with Harris? I don't.

Having voted for,Mondale, Dukakis,Clinton,Gore,Kerry,Obama and Clinton 2, this election will be for Trump.
This is a drastic change for me. The last republican I voted for was Reagan many years ago.

I understand why most of you on this board who care about USA politics dislike Republicans and I get it.

I dislike their anti gay, Christian beliefs. However I believe in free market capitalism, not socialism.
I keep very close track of spending by every president. Biden/ Harris has spent double of Trump, Obama, Bush etc.

Harris wants the government to take over health care. Do away with private insurance. I would lose my health insurance for Thailand with my provider, blue cross.

Taxes will go up and corporations will pass on cost to consumers. Your pension will buy less as our debt speeds faster to 40 trillion dollars. Inflation is my largest concern.

Please wake up to your interest. I have. And traveler Jim was right. I disagreed with him but he was right. Unfortunately he was ganged up on from all the liberals here.

Trump would destroy Harris in a debate. She speaks gobble gook.

If Trump wins the election, what are you expecting him to do, or at least try to do, that you like?

You know what I like best about Kamala Harris? She isn't Trump.

Sorry, but I don't want a lying, cheating, insurrectionist, rapist, convicted felon to be President of the United States. If you like Trump's policies, let them get someone else who is none of those things, but supports the same policies. How about Marjorie Taylor Greene . . . ?

I agree about Trump and those bad traits. The republicans should have chosen someone else.
Unfortunately we’re left with two awful candidates! The two party system is not working.
Is this the best, smartest individuals that can be offered?

Forget personality, we need to worry about policy. I’m a liberal with conservative fiscal beliefs. Probably a libertarian.

This inflation we have is owned by the democrats. Biden, or whoever was running the country, spent nearly eight trillion dollars. Do you know how large that number is? Trump spent 4 trillion

Guess how many years it takes to count one trillion. It’s mind boggling.

Think how the democrats were lying to us about Biden’s dementia. And now Harris has been appointed, not voted in by the people.

The media is hiding her just like Biden. Listen to her speak. No substance at all. What are her liberal policies? Extreme.

Believe me, I wanted Hillary to win against trump. She was accomplished and in the middle. Harris will destroy the economy. She is a women of color.Thats more important to Dems than getting the most qualified.

That’s how she got where she is. I would like a woman. Indian, Jamaican, fine. But one who’s able to lead. Her foreign policy? Border crisis. I’d like to see us try to get into Thailand and overstay and expect the Thai authorities to turn a blind eye to us.
