True, but at least to each other they do declare which farang give good tips and which are the cheapskates.

I'm not sure I would appreciate a boyfriend who doesn't just trust me and would actually be asking cleaning ladies. On the other hand, if a boy not even 1/3 my age was actually jealous that I might have bedded down someone else during his absence, maybe that's a good thing.

Before my boyfriend took his very first bus ride to PTY to meet me he had already reviewed a complete background history on me.
This started with a message to a friend of his that worked at Dunkin Donuts inside TukCom...got relayed to another boy who worked as bartender at Panorama...and finally reached its destination with a ladyboy mamasan who worked at Euroboys Gogo (Oil) in Sunee. All of that probably took all of 10 minutes. Not even the FBI can pull that off...555. He didn't tell me this until several years later.

That's one reason why I'm fairly consistent with tips. I vary the tip slightly, but only based on fairly clear performance differences.

Surely it depends on circumstance? Whilst NOT referring to any specific board member:
If the agreement were for an "open relationship", surely a BF needs to accept that?
If, hypothetically, a farang were telling a BF that he doesn't see other lads, but is seeing them, any suspicion might be well founded.
This is nothing I have experience of, as I'm very careful to tell lads I'm a butterfly.

I did the same when I was a butterfly - but it really didn't matter because they knew that already. Remember...they know everything. And not only do they know everything - but they tell everything they know to everyone.
My boyfriend knows exactly what I get up to. He just draws the line at boys less than half his age occupying the room, bed etc that he will later. Hence my use of short time rooms. It's an arrangement that has worked for 27 years.
I always tell the boys I off that I have a Thai boyfriend.

They can talk all they like, but the key point is that as I say I'm a butterfly, that's what they should expect. That matters to me.

I believe that's what they do expect, and what they expect from most farang on holiday in Thailand. So, that is not a gossip point. It's whether you're a good tipper or an el cheapo - that's what gets spread around.
They're welcome to discuss tips as well. Nothing to hide.
Where I have heard boys recently complain about tips, it was regarding "people who live here" who don't even expect to pay or were offering some pitiful tips.
I'd imagine such customers are a minority. Maybe the ones who have almost run out of money.
They also won't get very far, since the boys always ask what the tip will be before agreeing to meet. So not a great deal to worry about.
