Long time Pattaya Dongtan Beach American Expat James Myers (of Indianapolis) died at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya Tuesday.
Following a year of severe medical problems.

Services pending..
He enjoyed Pattaya Dongtan Beach life for at least 15+ years..

ALWAYS found EVERY DAY sitting in front row..right side chair with umbrella at times... of chairs in or next to Rits #15 section...taking several dips in sea during day.

His front row corner beach lounger with umbrella will now be empty...he loved it and the sea.

James will be missed by many. RIP.

James was a fixture of Dongtan Beach on his front row chair lying on his back holding up his phone or standing knee deep in the water. He was always approachable & friendly. Several years ago the size of the beach concessions was reduced & I said to James look on the bright side we are now all one big happy family & he said I am not so sure about the happy. Rest in peace James. You are missed by all your friends from Dongtan Beach.
