Corn Shrimp And Sausage Soup
* Serves 6
Ingredients
* 1/4 stick butter
* 1 tsp olive oil
* 1/2 yellow onions (chopped)
* 1/2 green bell pepper (chopped)
* 1 tsp minced garlic
* 7 oz cream-style corn
*6 oz whole kernel corn (undrained)
* 3 oz can RoTel milder tomatoes and green chilies (undrained)
* 4 oz can diced tomatoes (undrained)
* 4 oz canned tomato sauce
*3 oz tomato paste
* 4 oz water
* 7 oz chicken broth
* 1/4 tsp liquid crab boil
* 4 oz smoked sausage. Slice in ¼ inch slices
* 1/2 Lb. cleaned and peeled medium size shrimp
* 1 tsp Parsley flakes
* 2-3 green onions (chopped)
* 1 tsp Cajun Seasoning Mix
How to make it
* Heat butter and olive oil in a Soup Pot or large Stock Pot over medium-low heat.
* Sauté yellow onions, bell peppers and garlic until onions are translucent (not green onions).
* Add in cream-style corn, whole-kernel corn, Rotel tomatoes, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, Cajun seasoning, chicken broth and crab boil. Mix well and allow to simmer over medium-low heat for about 30 minutes.
* Turn heat up to medium and add shrimp, parsley flakes, sausage and chopped green onions. When shrimp turn pink, (in about 10 minutes) soup is ready to serve, but it can be held at a simmer for up to an hour.

Looks tasty. Before I try to make this a couple questions.
Did you mistype 1/22 meaning 1/2?
Where in Pattaya will I find, Rio Tel milder tomatoes and chillies, liquid crab boil, and Cajun Seasoning Mix?
How many will this serve?
Thanks

I don't know the answers to your other questions, but if I'm around it serves one . . .Pattayamale wrote:How many will this serve?

LOL, yes it should be 1/2, I can't imagine 1/22 of a bell pepper. You can find some Mexican canned foods at Villa, but you might have to sub another brand of tomatoes. If you can't find liquid crab boil, use the powdered variety. You can find Cajun seasoning mix at Villa, I think. The recipe serves 6 as it says.Pattayamale wrote:Looks tasty.
