Woodstock (BKK)

Post by Trongpai »

Sorry, but if there's any interest at all in a Bangkok restaurant then let me introduce you the Woodstock Bar and Grill in Thonglor, Bangkok. Bangkok is that big city north of Pattaya. I recently had the Reuben and it was excellent. There was a table of 15 persons nearby and it seemed they all ordered something different and each plate that passed by my table in route to the big table looked appetizing.

The web site and map makes BTS Thonglor look close, it's not. It's walkable if you're fit and it's not too hot, otherwise take a motocy or taxi from BTS. The motocy that took me back (20B) went via some back streets and got to BTS quick. Not sure if the motocy's at BTS know Woodstock but they should know soi 13 Thonglor. It's on 13, on your left coming from soi 55.

So, if your missed the Woodstock music festival of 1969, or went and want to relive the experience, The Woodstock Bar and Grill might trigger a flash back and if not, the food is good. The service, typical Thai, so point to menu items and/or speak clearly or in Thai. I over heard the owner tell one of the waiters to put the apple pie in the microwave before putting the ice cream on the side.

Peace,
Trongpai
