Re: American Hot Dogs
Now that things are back to normal for me I guess I will have to try out the recipe I have and see if it's worth the effort.

Think of the possibilities. If it's really good you could open a small restaurant in your boyfriend's name, get a work permit, and start making hot dogs. You'll make a fortune . . .lvdkeyes wrote:I will have to try out the recipe I have and see if it's worth the effort.

I'm joking. Do you really think I expected you to open a hot dog stand?lvdkeyes wrote:Do you really think I am that stupid?

Re: American Hot Dogs
Well, the hot dogs are made. They are not Nathan's, but they are better than any I have found in Thailand.

Re: American Hot Dogs
I finally stumbled on a hot dog I liked. It has the right texture and a good, smokey flavor.
BMS Food
Original German Home Made Style
German Butcher's
That's what's on the package. I've tried everything else, but never spotted this brand before. I was pleasantly surprised. It comes in a pack of five hot dogs, about 70 baht.
Yay! Finally found a decent hot dog in Thailand! Lvdkeyes, I'll be very interested to know what you think of it if you give it a try.
Here's a list of places where it's sold. It can also be found in other stores as well. I found it in a store local to me, not on the list: http://www.bms-food.com/html/partner.html

Re: American Hot Dogs
I finally tried the BMS sausages. I like the taste, just wish they were thicker, but I will be quite satisfied with them.

Well, you could always put two of them on the same bun . . .lvdkeyes wrote:just wish they were thicker
I do like them. I've certainly had better in my time, but they're the best I've found so far available in Thailand.
