Chippy review

Post by Captain Kirk »

Simons Fish & Chips in Jomtien.
Based solely on going for the cod or haddock option I wasnt keen. Very much reminded me of freezer shop fish paste type taste. Little guy out front serving has a nice face though. :)
Other local options for said cod or haddock would be.......??

If I don't make my own fish and chips and go out for it, I like Simon's in Jomtien. I haven't been there for awhile. I hope it hasn't changed.

I also like the Village Chippy. See: http://gaybuttonthai.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=437

I think the prices have gone up a bit since I posted their menu.

The Village Chinky didn't make it. They've opened something else in it's place. I don't recall what they opened, but the Village Chinky closed. The Village Chippy, however, is going strong.

Seen one advertised on the telly. Goose's? Think he said Second Rd between Soi 7 and 8. Comments on that one?

My bf and I tried Goose's. Parking is a problem, portions are small and not as good as Simon's. We both agreed.
