Traditional English Sunday Roast dinner on the darkside

Any recommendations? NANA DELI is excellent ... but is now so popular it is difficult to get a table! So if they are full, where should one go?

In my opinion, the best one on "The Dark Side" is The Courtyard. There are three sites for you to visit:

1. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/172 ... dark-side/ - 49 pages so far of "Dark Side" restaurant reviews. It's probably best to start on the last page and work your way backwards.

2. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php ... mMainBar=1 - A search came up with several reviews of The Courtyard

3. http://www.pattayamail.com/diningout/th ... drink-4645 - A PATTAYA MAIL review of The Courtyard, including driving directions.

Actually, getting there is really simple. Drive all the way out the the end of Soi Neurnplabwan. Turn left and keep going. You'll pass the original location of the Nana Deli on the left. A few hundred meters further, also on the left, you'll arrive at The Courtyard.

If you have a GPS, the coordinates are: N 12 55 50, E 100 56 20

I've spotted a few others along Soi Khao Tolo and Soi Khao Noi, but I can't think of the names and haven't tried any of them. The only name I can think of that advertises a Sunday roast is The Red Lion on Soi Khao Noi. In any case, the general consensus of opinion seems to be The Courtyard is the best "The Dark Side" currently has to offer. There might also be some offerings at some of the restaurants along the reservoir.
