My Thanksgiving didn't work out quite as expected. None of the local Thanksgiving dinners sounded all that exciting to us. We decided to go to the Chrysanthemum Chinese restaurant and have their Peking Duck.

We got there only to find out they're closed on Thursdays! We ended up at French Garden. Their food is excellent, but we had our hearts set on the Peking Duck.

Oh well . . .

Where are capons sold? I looked for one at Makro. I was led to a cut up set of frozen parts labeled frozen hen. No thanks.

I think it is best to treat Thanksgiving as a non event, unless the embargo is lifted :!:

Great. I'll try to remember that - a year from now. It's a little late for this year . . .

Rich Man Poor Man had capon as a menu choice .... Boss Eddie should be able to tell you where he got them. BTW the turkey dinner as very high quality ... although the turkey was Thai-raised, it was cooked to perfection .... moist and plentiful .... thanks to RMPM for a great meal.

Thank you. I was in Makro this morning and found them - right next to those frozen hens. I don't know how I missed them the first time unless they were sold out.
