What happened to this bar and this concept?

I thought they had a real money maker because they had a cross-over audience of females, couples and males.

I'm sure those premises and various alternatives are available to rent, if you fancy it.

I have no interest in running a bar either.
However, if we want decent gogo bars, it needs someone prepared to step up to the plate and try and be successful in a declining business sector.

The bottom red sign is "room available for rent".

The top sign is too blurred to read. But is a "recruiting a number of people" sign.

Sadly, I agree with other posters here about Sunee - it is done; and can't be resurrected.

I'm starting to think customers no longer want the traditional gogo bars. We all talk about them with nostalgia, but few visit.
On my last visit to Winner Boys, it had several nice lads on stage, with one or two even making a nice effort to entertain. Yet at one point, I was the only customer.
That's with drinks at 89 baht, which is a bargain.

There are hardly any proper gogo bars left and the remaining ones pull in little trade.

That is my conclusion too. The bars that pull in the crowds are the ones with ladyboy shows dancing in costumes. I hate those shows but obviously we who like the old style Sunee nostalgia sleeze bars are a minority.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case.

Simplifying slightly, we have two main types of show content. Those with ladyboys in costumes and those where muscular axe murderer types bang their dick on something.

Since shows seem to work, I would still like to see one bar innovate and put on a twink show, with both arty and erotic content.
In practice, even bars that have cute twinks seem to disregard them and put lady boys or axe murderers on stage at show time.
