Apsorn’s Kitchen, also known as Krua Apsorn, just up from the National library (Samsen Rd, between Wat Rachathiwat and the National Library, Bangkok, +66 2 668 8788) is a great place to go. Have the crab in curry powder, the deep-fried kingfish with green mango and the yellow curry with prawns and lotus shoots...real Thai!
