Illinois to be 15th US state to recognize gay marriage

I just read this on Facebook posted by George Takei:

Today, the Illinois House passed the marriage equality bill already passed by the State Senate, sending it on to the Governor who is a strong supporter. Wedding bells will be ringing there soon!

I'm glad not only to see this, but also delighted by the fact that lvdkeyes discovered it was posted by George Takei. I am a great admirer of George Takei. I've posted about him on another thread entitled simply "George Takei."
