Good price, especially for a full-service carrier.

I see, actually I was in Saigon for Songkran a few years ago.....somewhat less than spectacular but I think Vietnamese guys are the best looking of the lot.

I am giving Bangkok Songkran a miss this year but i will arrive in Pattaya in time for the big morlum concert on April 18 and the 19th for Pattaya Songkran day. There is something about all those wet and shirtless guys that keeps bringing me back every year.

As Hanoi has been mentioned as an escape destination from Songkran i will add that i just spent four days in Hanoi and before that Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi was very productive and i met four very nice guys, all free and one had model looks and likes older guys. Plenty of money boys on the apps but it turned out that i did not need their services. Prices quoted were between $US20-25 and then a big jump straight up to $US100-150 for more muscle type guys. The later must have been dreaming, no way when the lower price guys were quite suitable for me if i had needed them.

In HCM City i met a baker boy who visited me every night and gave me cakes amongst other delights and again no charge except to go for some delicious food which cost about $US5 and fed us both in an old style Vietnamese restaurant of his choosing near Bue Vien. Plenty of money boys available on the apps in HCM city and the same prices quoted as Hanoi.

I have used the services of money boys in both major cities on previous trips to Vietnam and all have been good, mostly bottoms and plenty of tops available of all types if that is what you like. I only sent one guy away who looked nothing like his online photos. The Vietnamese are the masters of beauty cam and i did have some problems with fake profiles in Da Nang. Photos are often distant or not clear. I ask them to send clear and close up photos and whether or not they are a money boy.

I am starting to like Vietnam more on every trip there. There are stunning looking guys everywhere you look and most are working in restauransts, cafes, bell boys in hotels etc. I just arrived in Bangkok and i have travelled all through Asia recently and Vietnam is way ahead in the number of good looking, head turning guys you see when just walking around the streets.

My tip for hotels in the old quarter of Hanoi is to get a room away from the front of the streets. The streets are very noisey till 100am with the honking of vehicle horns and start again around 630am. Some streets like Ma May and Hang Buom are backpacker hangouts and have nightclubs playing loud music till around 200am which is fine if you like clubs and do not want to sleep early. My new friend in Hanoi told me the Golden Cock gay bar can stay open till 200am on the weekend instead of the previous midnight closing. The Polite Pub next door has some very handsome guys working behind the bar and worth a visit.
