I voted for the at least 55 minutes option. If I am paying for 1 hour then I expect to get 1 hour and I expect it to be good quality. If it turns out to be less than 1 hour, that's fine as long as it was me, not the boy, who cut short the time.
Since I have never actually gotten fulfillment of those expectations at massage shops, now you know why I don't go to gay massage shops. Instead I prefer to try massage boys on the apps. If I get a really good one, guess who gets to make return visits.
If I want a real massage, I know there won't be a "happy ending" but that's not what I'm looking for. I'll go to massage shops where the masseurs have been properly trained. In my experience, the blind masseurs have always been the best.
I don't know if any of the boys working in gay massage shops have ever had any proper training at all, or even any training whatsoever, much less completed training and were certified. My guess is few to none ever have - and it shows . . .

A good question.
Some are surprisingly good, but often there's no skill at all. When I find someone who is good, I tend to go back.
I hope a few more board members will participate in this poll. One will know exactly why I posted it.

Most of the massage shops n Pattaya seem to rely on having a group of cute smiling guys outside their shop to lure customers in.
Most of the time, these guys appear to have no customers.
If I were running a massage shop, I would implement a few changes:
1 Guarantee a minimum massage duration of 60 minutes, unless the customer requests otherwise.
2 Give the boys numbers and ensure customers are always given a customer satisfaction survey to complete. Possibly add some incentives to get the customers to complete the form.
3 Task the manager with ensuring both policies are followed
4 Any boy who gets persistently poor ratings should be interviewed, coached, trained and where necessary, eventually fired.
I'm fairly sure this would lead to more trade for the shop and the staff.
