I can't bear to watch the UK debates, as they are both useless and my mind is already made up (I shall never vote Labour).

From what I know of US politics, both are also useless, but Trump is also dangerous and unfit to run the country. So unless you're still undecided, why put yourself through this ? Or are they a pleasure to watch ?

I could hardly bear to watch this one. Unfortunately, Trump walked all over Biden. Biden's performance was just terrible. As much as I hate to say it, Trump easily won this debate. Unless Biden improves significantly I, along with many others, think he ought to seriously consider dropping out of the campaign and let the Democrats replace him with someone who really can beat Trump - and do so right now, before it's too late. But if the situation continues as things went today, I think Trump will win the election. I've never hoped so much in my life to be wrong.

Why put yourself through it ? I'm sure there's something more enjoyable to do, particularly in Pattaya.

Was this down to age related cognitive decline ? I've read that he's not too sharp these days.
Fortunately not everyone suffers from that so much, but if they do, ideally there would be processes in place to keep them off the ballot paper.

Both your country and mine seem to allow any old idiot to go on the ballot paper.

Although, whilst any old idiot can get elected, there is an endearing charm to certain candidates in the UK:

Not really. When the debate took place, in Thailand it was 8:00am. Not very much else to do at that hour. Also I was hoping to see Biden totally humiliate Trump, which would have been VERY enjoyable. Well, it didn't work out that way.

Unfortunately, that's who usually does get elected. Idiots getting elected by idiots voting for them.

It will be a landslide, similar to what Regan did to Mondale. Biden has dementia or something similar. Let’s hope we don’t get nuked until he’s gone.
